Open Space Preservation Board

About Us

The Halfmoon Township Open Space Preservation Board is an advisory body to the Board of Supervisors. It consists of seven members: one sitting member of the Board of Supervisors, one sitting member of the Planning Commission and five additional members that are appointed by the Board for a four-year term. The Board works closely with the Open Space Administrator.

Meeting Information

The Open Space Preservation Board meets at 6:00 PM on the second Wednesday of every month, except on holidays, at the Halfmoon Township Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Lane, Port Matilda, PA 16870 and are open to the public.

Responsibilities

The Board assists the Board of Supervisors in devising and implementing procedures for preserving open space and for efficient use of funds provided under the open space preservation program.
